some people are saying that the report is inaccurate and they're not acting in the film, they are just stunt coordinators
Even if they're just stunt coordinators that is awesome, because it means this film is going to have the best lightsabre battles in the series

FINALLY SOME NEWS ABOUT THE FIRST STANDALONE FILM:
The lead actress of the first stand alone Star Wars spinoff film directed by Gareth Edwards has 4 contenders: Tatiana Maslany, Rooney Mara, Kate Mara and Felicity Jones.
Come on Maslany. That would be awesome, hopefully the role is for a female jedi or something.

The new rumor is that the first star wars standalone film will be called Star Wars: Bounty Hunters.
Michael Fassbender would star as Boba Fett.
This hasn't been confirmed yet.

They cast Felicity Jones as the main lead. For the main male lead the rumors are Aaron Paul and Edgar Ramirez though it's unconfirmed if they'll be playing boba fett

New longer trailer for Force Awakens will be shown before Avengers: Age of Ultron. This is now confirmed.
The trailer will first be shown off at april at the Star Wars convention in texas. They are also expected to show off the new Battlefront game, reveal more information about the first stand alone movie and it's rumored that they will announce all movies going up on Netflix.

Yo ever since I was little I fucking loved reading the rogue squadron books and playing rogue squadron on N64 I love this idea for a movie.
However I'm concered because the only cast right now for the movie is Felicity Jones. Does that mean it's a female x-wing pilot, AND she's the leader? Come on now I can't suspend my disbelief that much.

The score for Rogue One will be scored by Alexander Desplat, who did the score for Grand Budapest Hotel. It will be the first time a Star Wars film has not been scored by John Williams.

Ben Mendelson is joining Rogue One.
If you don't know who he is, he's the awesome actor who's the star of the new netflix series Bloodline. He's also in Place Beyond the Pines and he was the guy who didn't feel in charge in The Dark Knight Rises.

Star Wars celebration is this week.
Could be getting new trailer for Force Awakens before week is out. Also supposed to get the Battlefront trailer sometime soon. And probably some sort of confirmation on what Rogue One is about.
