rey is attractive but she's not as hot/cute as early 2000s era natalie portman, then again natalie portman was the best thing about those movies even though she was delivering such wooden dialogue.
that fucking tank/cyborg creature is so cool
Not a fan of C3PO's redesign. First thing from this movie that legitimately makes me nervous. The last time they did something so drastic with the character was Phantom Menace, and that movie turned out great.

Oh my fuck I hate disney. They changed it from "Star Wars Anthology" to "Star Wars story" because they thought audiences wouldn't know what "anthology" was holy shit literally making movies for retards.

Kylo Ren is a dark Jedi, not a sith. He and some other former Jedi apprentices of Luke form the Knights of Ren, which are dark jedi lords who wear sith armor. Supposedly some of these dark Jedi will be played by the Raid guys.

All the new toys go on sale on Friday, trailer that same day.
It looks like Finn vs. Kylo Ren is going to be the big lightsaber fight at the end of this movie, was hoping for some Luke action but I think I'm going to like the new characters so its all cool.

Someone's been posting screenshots on websites that keep getting taken down, that are supposedly of the new 3 minute trailer that will debut in October. One shows a weird looking alien thing, the other shows LUKE in an alien planet with a robot arm, looking like a cross between Vader and Obi-wan fucking awesome.

Rogue One is being shot in Ultra Panavision 70, just like Tarantino's Hateful Eight. It's a format that was once popular in the 60s and 70s but has not been used since.
Hateful Eight is only going to be shown in it's proper format in like 50 theatres. Since Rogue One has disney money they can probably get it in more.
I would love to see what that looks like. I like that the new Star Wars movies are really trying to look like older movies, with Abrams using the same 70MM Imax cameras Chris Nolan used in Interstellar.
70MM looks really cool by the way. Interstellar looked great in IMAX, and I remember I went to see The Master in that format and that's still one of the prettiest movies I've ever seen in theatres, even if the plot was weird.
