Anybody else been watching this? It's so good.
Mads Mikelson is amazing as Dr. Lecter. The writing staff is amazing (David Fury also known as the guy that wrote on the good seasons of Lost, Buffy and 24 and Bryan Fuller who created Pushing Daisies) and so are the directors (David Slade and the Pans Labrynth set designer) for a show like this. The only weak link is the guy that plays Will Graham.

Also where this fits in to the continuity of the movies/books is that it is a prequel to manhunter/red dragon (which is why it has all the same characters) and is actually closer to the books than most of the movies so far

the only things they've changed so far are:
-Freddie Looms is woman instead of a man who posts on a blog instead of a tabloid newspaper
-Jack Crawford is black
-the second episode story with the guy growing the garden was made up for the show
-The francis dollarhyde thing in the first episode happening WAY too early in the series
Everything else (Will Graham having personality disorder, Hannibal being his psychiatrist, Graham going after the cannibal and Hannibal being a copy cat killer, the daughter surviving and falling in with Hannibal) happened in the books

This is the final season now. They are going to try to get picked up by Hulu. I'd be fine with this series ending this year and just having this be a proper Silence of the Lambs prequel.

Glad they ended it where they did, will wouldn't have come back if they did a season 4.
Fuller says they would have had a black Clarice. Probably Gugu from Dr. Who. Buffalo Bill would have been played by Lee Pace.
We're never getting that now.
