Listening to be it now, I can see why he's retiring.
Some songs are good to even great, but his voice is just not the same as it used to be and it just sounds like an old man rambling. Sometimes it has that feel of the last Cash albums, like on "where are we now" just a badass looking back on his life. Other times it has a feel of recent Rolling Stones and Aerosmith, IE, shitty.
It's hit and miss but that had been most Bowie albums throughout his career. It's legitimately his best album since the 90s one that had afraid of americans on it, so, there's that/.
