He said that cranston gave one of the best performances he's seen in years on this show, and that the show is one of the best pieces of television OR film from the past 20 years.

watching the marathon on AMC
everything about this show is still god-like, from the writing to the directing to the acting to the soundtrack.

been streaming this all week to wet my anticipation for Godzilla vs. Heisenberg. On Season 4 right now, will start Season 5 the last season tonight.
This really is one of the greatest series of all time, right up there with The Shield, the Wire and Lost.
What's amazing about it in retrospect is that despite having such weird low rated first seasons, it went on to become such a masterpiece in its final two seasons that it really just was so far heads and toes above anything else on television at the time. I really do feel its changed TV for the better as I don't think shows like True Detective or Fargo would exist without Breaking Bad.

It is almost a shot for shot remake. Jesse is way too buff in this one though. But I'm losing it right now because he just said "!Eh Puta!" which ok, that's fucking funny

Just the first episode has boobs cause AMC started cracking down on them and you'll notice the later episodes are more censored, but the show does get better

I'm 5 epsiodes into season 1 and for some reason I cannot help but laughing a bit when Walt Jr starts to talk. But my favorite moments so far are when Jesse is smoking the crystal meth him and Walt cooked and he gets so paranoid that he sees 2 mean looking biker dudes pull up outside his house and he bolts the fuck out of his house only to have the guys revealed as Mormons. My other favorite part is just after the Mormon thing when he's staying at his parents house and the maid finds a joint and his parents think he did it and they kick him out and when he's waiting for the cab his little brother comes out and thanks him for not ratting him out. There's also a bunch of little cut scenes that I though were funny too.

By little cut scenes do you mean the way the show transitions from scene to scene? my favorite (I think it's in Season 1?) is when you are looking at water and then realize it's a urinal cake.
And no I think the Walt Jr. character is supposed to be serious but I've always found him funny especially in the early seasons. Start counting the number of times he's shown eating breakfast.
