I also kind of like that the end of the Mulder episodes coincides with the end of the 90s. This was a very 90s show up until this point.

Time travel episode written by Lost guy was the first 10 out of 10 in Season 8. The attorney knew John because they were both in Terminator 2.

I've legit loved these 5 or so episodes so far that they gave us. Favorites were the one this week with young Mulder and Scully and Mulder tripping on mushrooms and the Werelizard where the lizard lies about fucking about Scully episode.
What I love about it is how oldschool it is. It's just a show that exists to have fun. Shows nowadays, even network shows like Gotham, have completely forgotten that television is supposed to be fun. I love all the tongue in cheek references to actual conspiracies and weird internet stuff. I love all the callbacks. And I love all the banter back and forth between Mulder and Scully. It's television, not movies, this shit should be FUN.
Not everything needs to be Breaking Bad.
