watching the two hour premiere on my laptop now and I'm laughing my ass off at the TV 14 in the corner. So far Don has gotten high, Megan has shown sideboob, Peggy says fuck and Betty encouraged her husband to rape a 15 year old girl while she holds her down and sticks a rag in her mouth. LOL AMC.

LOL I had no idea there was such a thing as Mad Men fan fiction, holy shit I'm reading some and dying of laughter. Pete goes to a toy fair and gets a rubix cube and noone has seen one before, and they all talk about how brutally utilitarian it is. "Don stares at the cube as if it is the reflection of his soul" Haha wtf.

Mad Men was better than Game of Thrones this week, but Game usually takes a while to get going while Mad Men usually hits the ground running.

at first I was like "MLK dying episode this early in the season?" but then I realized they still have to cover vietnam, nixon taking office, and that the bulk of the civil rights movement happened after MLK died so its true to history if they go that route.
And Don taking his son to see Planet of the Apes is awesome. Don's son is totally going to grow up to be a scifi nerd.

sometimes i think this might be the greatest show on television of all time if it weren't so slow
episodes like last night are better than anything else on tv
Mad Men is definitely on the same level as Breaking Bad, they are just very different shows

LOL AMC screwed them over
Matt Weiner says he was told to split the series into two, and that they would film all 14 together.

Last week's premiere was kind of a shock and a lot of stuff was new
But this week we are back in Mad Men prime quality territory and I am happy. Hopefully it stays this good all the way to the end. So crazy that a soap opera set in the 60s would become one of the greatest shows of all time. Sally and Don forever.

I like how the ads for the final season are calling this the greatest series of all time. I don't necessarily agree but I think it's in my Top 5.
OFFICIAL GREATEST ALLTIME TV SERIES LIST:
1. The Wire 2. Breaking Bad 3. Mad Men 4. Lost 5. The Shield
