Wizards Deck is starting to become the greatest deck ever. Definitely the best deck I've helped build yet.
I computed and so far I've helped buy 69 dollars worth of cards for it. We're waiting for two packages worth of cards to come in the mail.
Charles still wants to buy a mox lotus before he will consider the deck done though, I'm guessing. I'd say once we get all the cards from Star City the deck will be like 75% complete

the best part of the deck is going to be the rare lands. Thanks wes for giving me that idea and saying you couldn't build a deck off of rare lands. I actually found quite a few that were completely broken, worked in the colors and were only 50 cents.

We traded for a fucking ten dollar land. the most expensive land I bought off Star City is a Riptide Laboratory but that was necessary because it allows you to return wizards to your hand. |

my favorite part of wizards right now is that it has a thieve's auction, a time reversal, and a scrambleverse

rogue's passage is not a rare though. Just uncommon.
The eventual goal of wizards is for it to only be rare lands.

good cheap rare lands: mystifying maze, howltooth hollow, magosi the waterveil, etc. all of which are going to be in wizards
the funniest one that is going in wizards is sorrow's path. It doesn't even tap for mana.

rainbow vale is also a hilarious land that is going to be in wizards
after you tap it for mana your opponent gains control of it.

There are going to be so many stupid broken combos in Wizards. My favorite: Worst Fears + Lighthouse Chronologist + Magosi the Waterveil "I skip my turn due to Magosi the Waterveil's effect. Due to Lighthouse Chronologist that means it is now my turn. I activate Magosi the Waterveil meaning I have an extra turn after this one. Due to Lighthouse Chronologist that means it is now my turn after this one. Now after my third turn it's your turn. I activate Worst Fears let me take that turn for you."

the best part is going to be seeing cheesy's soul crush in half when charles plays some of these cards in combination with one another. For example, if somebody played Worst Fears with hivemind on the field.
